Unique Folk Art, Featured Artist

Sara Pulver
Being involved in the art world for over 20 years, My work can be found in collections around the world. Employing many various styles my aim is to make you smile. I get great inspiration from the animal world and like to portray our friends as happy, fun loving beings, which I truly believe they are. I love doing commissions. Mostly people request to see their various pets or favorite animals come to life through my works, sometimes including themselves in a role reversal. I am looking forward to hosting my first In House Open Studio Show this year and working closely with my agent, I hope to complete a series of picture books as well.

Unique Folk Art Featured Artist

Kelly Puissegur

a.k.a. Retro Whale
My drawings are little appreciations for found objects, plants, animals, people who inspire me, family, music, shapes, textures, and what ever else pops into my head. I change mediums frequently because I get board easily but my work generally maintains a child like, playful quality. My goal is to make affordable art that people can smile about and relate to in some way.

Me and a quote
"I'm most excited about making things everyday, without really worrying if they'll ever sell or fit into some show...I need to work out ideas, regardless of whether they are 'for' something. My main concern is that time is always running out." - Bill Dunlap
